Short answer
Where to find it and where to use it
Where the card drops. No fixed spawn. Like every Riven Tides keycard it is a random roll from the shared loot pool, with the best odds in residential and administrative style containers, and it can be looted off another raider. No drop rates have been published for any key in the game, so ignore any number you see attached to this one.
Where the door is. Hotel Panorama Azzurro, west side of the map, then straight up.
Get to the fourth floor by staircase or by zipline, move into the west wing, and walk the hallway to the very end. Room 404 is the last door. This is the penthouse level, so there is nothing above you and nowhere further to walk once you are there.
The vertical alignment with Room 102 is the useful part. Both doors sit at the far west end of their floors. If you are holding both cards, one climb up the western side of the building clears both without ever crossing the central corridors where everyone else is.
What it unlocks
One door: Room 404, and it is the highest locked room in the hotel.
The card's description is the same generic Panorama Azzurro suite line the other six hotel cards carry, so the number stamped on it is what matters.
The position is worth planning around. Floor 4 is a dead end. You go up to reach it and you come back down the same way, with no third option if the stairwell fills up behind you. On the upside it is the best sightline in the hotel, so spend a few seconds at a window before you drop back down.
What is inside
A top floor suite with the standard container set, and less documentation than any other room in this hotel.
That is not a dodge, it is the actual state of the evidence. One guide flatly calls Room 404 unconfirmed and treats it as the least mapped door on Riven Tides. Others rank it among the better hotel rooms without publishing anything you could check. Nobody has produced a repeatable loot list for it, and we are not going to write one for them.
What you can rely on: it is a suite, so expect suitcases, drawers, wardrobes, bedside tables and bathroom storage, with the loot rolled from the same randomised pool as every other room. Higher floors in the hotel are widely reported as rolling better than floor 1, and 404 is as high as it goes.
Is it worth the detour
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Common |
| Building | Hotel Panorama Azzurro, west side of Riven Tides |
| Door | Room 404, floor 4, far west end of the hallway |
| Position | Directly above Room 102, penthouse level, dead end |
| Verdict | Worth it as the top of a west side climb, not alone |
Conditionally yes.
The case for it: you are already going up if you are working the hotel properly, the top floor is reported to roll better than the bottom, and the exit from up here takes you away from the building rather than back through it.
The case against: it is the furthest locked door from every entrance in the hotel, the documentation on what is actually inside is the thinnest of any room on the map, and floor 4 has no second exit. A dedicated climb for one unverified suite is a lot of stairs for a maybe.
The way to make it pay is pairing. Carry the 102 card as well and run the west side as one continuous climb: 102 on floor 1, then straight up the west stairwell to 404 on floor 4. Same wing, same stairwell, no exposure to the central landing that gets people killed on floor 2.
How keys work in Arc Raiders
Four rules, and the top floor sharpens two of them.
- Every key is single use and is consumed when the door opens.
- Keys are lost on death unless stored in your Safe Pocket, which they can be used from directly.
- Locked rooms reset between raids, so a cleared 404 is full again next run.
- Keys have no fixed spawn. They come from the shared loot pool and from other raiders.
Rule two matters more four floors up than it does at ground level, because the walk back down is where an ambush actually catches you.

- Riven Tides Hotel Keycard No. 107: common, floor 1 central balcony suite, the Battening Down reward.

- Riven Tides Hotel Keycard No. 205: common, floor 2 central, beside the exposed zipline landing.
- Riven Tides Hotel Keycard No. 208: common, floor 2 central east, a multi room suite.

Frequently asked questions
- Where do you use Riven Tides Hotel Keycard No. 404?
- On Room 404 in Hotel Panorama Azzurro on Riven Tides. Climb to the fourth floor by stairs or zipline, move into the west wing, and walk the hallway to the very last door. It is the highest locked room in the building.
- Is Room 404 above Room 102?
- Yes. Both sit at the far west end of their floors, 102 on floor 1 and 404 on floor 4. If you hold both cards, one climb up the western stairwell opens both and keeps you away from the busy central corridors.
- What loot is in Room 404?
- Honestly, it is the least documented room in the hotel. One guide calls its contents unconfirmed. It is a standard suite layout with randomised rolls, and higher floors are widely reported to roll better than floor 1, but nobody has published a loot list worth repeating.
- Where does Hotel Keycard No. 404 spawn?
- There is no fixed spawn. It is a random drop from the shared loot pool, reported most often from residential and administrative containers, and it can be looted from other raiders. No drop rate exists for it.
- Is Room 404 worth the climb?
- As the last stop on a west side run, yes. On its own it is the furthest locked door from every hotel entrance, floor 4 is a dead end with no second exit, and the loot evidence is thinner than for any other room on the map.
