The Riven Tides Classified Records Keycard location in Arc Raiders: the Port Authority door behind a turret, the security pad step, and the full loot inside.

The Riven Tides map in Arc Raiders with the Port Authority Building outlined in red at the northern harbour and the Classified Records Keycard door marked inside it
Riven Tides. The reticle marks the Port Authority Building at the harbour, the building that holds the Classified Records room. The crop outlines the whole building rather than the room, and it is not a spawn marker for the card.

Short answer

Where to find it and where to use it

Where the card drops. No fixed spawn. It rolls from the shared loot pool like every key in the game, best odds in security and commercial containers, and it comes off dead raiders too. No drop rate has ever been published, so any percentage you see quoted is a guess.

Where the door is. The Port Authority Building sits at the harbour on the northern side of Riven Tides, between the Seabed area and the Wreckage. It is one of the most contested points of interest on the map.

Inside, the approach is the memorable part. The room sits at the closed end of a U shaped corridor. The run in is straight and narrow, and a turret covers it with a clear line of sight down the length. You deal with the turret or you do not get to the door.

Sources disagree on which floor it is on. Some place it on the main floor, others on the top floor of the control office on the eastern side. We are not picking one for you. Navigate by shape instead: find the U shaped corridor with a turret watching the closed end, and you are in the right place whichever level you climbed.

What it unlocks

The Classified Records room, through heavy industrial doors. There are two of them and they lead into the same space, so the card is not wasted whichever one you reach first.

The step people miss. Unlocking is not the same as opening here. After the card is used, you have to activate the security pads with the red lights next to the doors to actually open them. If you swipe, hear nothing move, and assume the card was faulty, look for the pad. This is the single most common failure point at this door.

The Secure Storage room, opened by its own separate epic keycard, has its entrance inside Classified Records, so if you carry both cards this is the door you clear first.

What is inside

This is the best documented locked room on Riven Tides, and it earns it.

The character of the loot is administrative: folders, documents, decorations and electronics that sell well rather than gear you equip. The tech cabinets are the real draw, since tech components bottleneck most crafting.

Hazards, and there are several: turrets, cameras and roaming Shredders, with Pops and Fireballs reported in the building as well. One guide recommends running it during a major map condition such as a Night Raid or a Hurricane on the basis that loot is boosted. Treat that as a community claim rather than confirmed, but it costs nothing to time a visit that way.

Is it worth the detour

VerdictThe best documented room on the map, worth a dedicated trip

Yes, and this is one of the few keys on Riven Tides worth building a raid around.

The reason is density and certainty. Most locked rooms are one furniture set and a prayer. Classified Records is a documented, repeatable container list with tech components as the backbone and a real blueprint chance on top.

The price is the approach. A narrow corridor covered by a turret, cameras that call attention, Shredders in the building, and one of the most contested points of interest on the map wrapped around all of it. Bring something to handle the turret and expect to fight for it.

If you also hold the Secure Storage Keycard, the calculation is not even close. Go.

How keys work in Arc Raiders

The universal rules apply, plus one wrinkle specific to this door.

  1. Single use. The Classified Records Keycard is consumed when the door unlocks.
  2. Lost on death unless it is in your Safe Pocket, and it can be used directly from there.
  3. The room resets between raids. Cleared this run does not mean empty next run.
  4. No fixed spawns. Shared loot pool and other raiders, no published drop rates.

The wrinkle: unlocking and opening are separate actions here. Swipe, then hit the security pad. Rule one applies from the moment you swipe, so do it when you are ready to walk in.

Frequently asked questions

Where do you use the Riven Tides Classified Records Keycard?
On the Classified Records room in the Port Authority Building at the northern harbour of Riven Tides. The room sits at the closed end of a U shaped corridor with a turret covering the straight approach to it.
Which floor is the Classified Records room on?
Sources disagree. Some place it on the main floor, others on the top floor of the control office on the eastern side. Navigate by shape instead: look for the U shaped corridor with a turret watching the closed end.
Why will the door not open after I use the keycard?
Because unlocking and opening are separate here. After the card is used, activate the security pads with the red lights next to the heavy industrial doors. Missing that step is the most common reason people think the card failed.
What loot is in the Classified Records room?
At least seven tech cabinets with Sensors, Batteries, Wires, Processors and Plastic, file cabinets holding blueprints including reports of the Powered Descender blueprint, a Medical Bag or Raider Bag on the cabinets, a Weapon Case between the rows, desk drawers and trash cans by the eastern door, and a rare spawn Security Breach Locker.
Do I need this card to reach the Secure Storage room?
Effectively yes. The Secure Storage entrance sits inside the Classified Records room, so you have to open Classified Records first and then use the separate epic Secure Storage Keycard on the inner door.
