The Riven Tides map in Arc Raiders with Hotel Panorama Azzurro outlined in red and the Hotel Keycard No. 205 door marked in the central part of the building
Riven Tides. The reticle marks Hotel Panorama Azzurro, the building holding the Room 205 door on floor 2. The crop outlines the building rather than the suite, and it does not show where the card spawns.

Short answer

Where to find it and where to use it

Where the card drops. No fixed location. The 205 card comes out of the same shared loot pool as every other key on Riven Tides, weighted toward residential, commercial and security containers, and it drops off players.

One guide gets specific and says the card turns up in bedside tables, cleaning supply closets and around the sun loungers in and near the hotel. That is a single source and it also quotes a spawn percentage, which nobody can substantiate, so take the container types as a reasonable hint about where to look and ignore the number entirely. There are no published drop rates for any key in this game.

Where the door is. Get to floor 2 of Hotel Panorama Azzurro. The zipline that runs into the building drops you close, and the western stairs come out near the same landing. From there, read the red numerals above the doors and work along the central run. Room 205 sits toward the middle of floor 2, adjacent to Room 204, which is not locked and is a useful landmark for confirming you are on the right stretch of corridor.

What it unlocks

One door: Room 205. Same generic suite description as the rest of the hotel cards.

On the defences, sources disagree. The door listing we work from marks the central floor 2 approach as turret guarded. The location guides we cross checked do not mention a turret at all, and instead describe ARC drones and Wasps around the second floor with Shredders patrolling the interiors. We could not settle it, so here is the honest version: treat the central floor 2 landing as covered, whether that is a turret with a fixed arc or a drone patrol that happens to sit there. Do not stroll onto it.

What is inside

A suite in the central block, with the usual container spread plus a reputation for better rolls than the floor 1 rooms.

One detailed guide reports epic tier weapons in the room including an Osprey II, a Tempest II and a Kinetic Converter, along with medical supplies, rare injectors, crafting materials, chemicals and tier 3 attachments. Every one of those is a single source claim about a randomised loot table, so read it as what that player found on one run, not as a manifest. What is safe to say is that community listings consistently rank floor 2 above floor 1 in the hotel, and 205 is the smaller of the two doors on that floor.

Plan for around 45 seconds inside if the corridor is quiet. The room is not large. The reason to move fast is the approach, not the room.

DoorRoom 205, floor 2, central, next to the zipline landing
DefencesContested reports, treat the landing as covered
VerdictGood value, but arrive on the stairs, not the zipline

Yes, with a caveat about how you get there.

The room itself is a step up from the floor 1 suites and it is quick to clear. The cost is that the central floor 2 landing is the single most watched piece of interior on this map: it is where the zipline arrives, where the western stairs surface, and where anyone moving between floors has to pass. Half the deaths at this door happen before anyone reaches the door.

Spend the card mid raid rather than in the opening minutes, come up the stairs, and clear the landing before you stand still to swipe. Done that way, 205 is one of the better common cards on Riven Tides.

How keys work in Arc Raiders

Four rules, unchanged for every key in the game.

  1. Single use. The card is gone once Room 205 opens, whatever is inside.
  2. Lost on death unless it is in your Safe Pocket, and it can be used from there without moving it back.
  3. Rooms reset between raids. A stripped 205 refills next run.
  4. No fixed spawns. Shared loot pool and other players, no published rates.

Rule one carries extra weight on a defended door. If you get chased off the landing after swiping, the card is already spent. Open the door when you are actually ready to walk through it.

Frequently asked questions

Where do you use Riven Tides Hotel Keycard No. 205?
On Room 205 on floor 2 of Hotel Panorama Azzurro, in the central part of the building near the zipline landing and the western stairs. Room 204 sits next to it and is a good landmark for confirming the right corridor.
Is Room 205 guarded by a turret?
Sources disagree. The door listing we work from marks the central floor 2 approach as turret guarded, while the location guides we cross checked describe ARC drones, Wasps and Shredders instead. Either way, treat that landing as covered and clear it before you stop moving.
Where does Hotel Keycard No. 205 spawn?
There is no fixed spawn. One guide reports bedside tables, cleaning supply closets and sun loungers as good places to check, which fits the general residential and commercial bias of key drops, but no drop rate for it has ever been published.
What loot is in Room 205?
One detailed guide reports epic weapons, medical supplies, rare injectors, crafting materials and tier 3 attachments. Loot in Arc Raiders is randomised, so treat that as one run rather than a fixed table. Floor 2 rooms do rank above floor 1 in community listings.
Should I take the zipline to Room 205?
Not if the floor might be occupied. The zipline drops you on a known, exposed landing with a loud arrival. The western stairs put you on the same corridor much more quietly, which matters more here than at any other hotel door.
