Reinforced Reception Security Code Location in Arc Raiders
The Reinforced Reception Security Code location in Arc Raiders: where exactly it spawns in the centre north, and what is waiting in the tunnels below it.

Short answer
Where to find it and where to use it
Where it spawns. Inside Reinforced Reception. Minimum one per round, and multiple copies can appear in a single raid.
This is the exception that makes the four security codes worth writing about at all. Every door key in Arc Raiders is a random drop from the shared loot pool, with no marker, no guaranteed container and no farm. The codes do not work that way. Each one spawns inside its namesake POI, every round the condition is active.
On containers, guides mention bins at this POI specifically, while the item page says any lootable container inside the area and the Locked Gate page says a Code Printer within it. All three point the same direction: search the building properly rather than checking one shelf.
Where you use it. The Gate Control Room, at one of the four terminals. It is marked on your map when Locked Gate is running. Submission consumes the code.
What it unlocks
The main gate on The Blue Gate, and only during Locked Gate. Four codes, four terminals. When the fourth lands, the outer gates open permanently for the remainder of that raid, for every player in the lobby.
| Code | Spawns inside | Rough position |
|---|---|---|
| Reinforced Reception Security Code | Reinforced Reception | Centre north |
| Ancient Fort Security Code | Ancient Fort | South |
| Pilgrim's Peak Security Code | Pilgrim's Peak | North east |
| Raider's Refuge Security Code | Raider's Refuge | North west |
What is inside
This is the code whose POI has the most interesting basement, so here is the underground in detail.
The Security Wing. Event guides put it in the south west section of the tunnels, directly below Reinforced Reception. The wiki describes it as sitting next to the Traffic Tunnel below the Headhouse area. Those descriptions conflict on which surface building it sits under, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What every source agrees on is the way in: the large ground opening at Headhouse, north west of the Warehouse Complex.
What is down there. Weapon lockers, security breach containers, a weapon case and a general spread of containers through the wing, with side tunnels full of lockers on the approach. The Bobcat SMG blueprint is the headline pull during this condition, reported most often out of red lockers and drawers, though it can spawn in containers anywhere on the map while the event runs.
And one locked door. The Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key opens a room in the same underground area, marked by MANTIKOR written above it. Its reported contents are the Heavy Gun Parts Blueprint and the IL Toro Blueprint. If you are running Locked Gate and you own that key, carry it.
A Bastion and a spread of ARC patrol the tunnels. The gate opening is the start of the fight, not the end of it.
Is it worth the detour
The code is free. Reinforced Reception is a centre north POI that plenty of routes cross anyway, and picking up a guaranteed quest style item on the way through costs you a couple of container searches.
The gate run is the part with a price tag. Locked Gate runs with fewer active Return Points, no active Raider Hatches and a 40 minute raid cap, so you are working a shorter clock with fewer ways out than a normal Blue Gate raid.
Verdict: take the code every time you are in the building, bank it, and only push the tunnels when your squad is equipped for a Bastion and a contested corridor. The blueprints down there are permanent unlocks, which is a genuinely different class of reward from a bag of loot, so the trip is worth planning properly rather than improvising.
How keys work in Arc Raiders
- Single use. Consumed on submission, the same way a door key is consumed on a door.
- Lost on death unless it is in your Safe Pocket, and it works from the pocket. Non negotiable for anything you are banking.
- The gate stays open for the rest of that raid once all four land. Ordinary locked rooms reset between raids instead.
- Fixed spawn area. The four codes are the only exception to the rule that keys are random drops from the shared loot pool.
Two quirks that catch people out: a code is worth 0 Coins, and it cannot be deleted from your Speranza stash. Drop it in a raid or feed it to a terminal, there is no third option.

Frequently asked questions
- Where does the Reinforced Reception Security Code spawn?
- Inside Reinforced Reception, in the centre north of The Blue Gate. Guides mention bins specifically, but the item page says any lootable container in the POI. At least one spawns per round and sometimes more.
- What is behind the Blue Gate locked gate?
- The underground tunnel complex. Guides report weapon lockers, security breach containers, a weapon case and side tunnels of lockers, concentrated in the Security Wing. The Bobcat SMG blueprint is the standout pull during the event.
- Is the Security Wing under Reinforced Reception?
- Sources disagree. Several event guides put the Security Wing directly below Reinforced Reception in the south west of the tunnels. The wiki places it next to the Traffic Tunnel below Headhouse. The practical route into it starts at the Headhouse ground opening either way.
- Can I get rid of a security code I do not want?
- Only by dropping it during a raid or submitting it at a terminal. Codes are worth 0 Coins and cannot be deleted from your Speranza stash, which surprises people the first time they try to clear the slot.
- Do I have to hold all four codes at once?
- No. Codes extract with you and bank in your stash, so you can pick them up across separate raids and submit the set whenever you are ready.
