Short answer
Where to find it and where to use it
Where it spawns. Inside Pilgrim's Peak. That is the whole answer, and it is unusual enough to say twice.
Every other key in Arc Raiders is a random drop from the shared loot pool with no marker and no guaranteed container. The four Locked Gate security codes are the exception: each one spawns inside the POI it is named after, at a minimum of one per round, and sometimes more than one in a single run. So when you see Pilgrim's Peak circled on our map, that is not a door, it is a place the item actually comes from.
Sources describe the container two ways. The item page says any lootable container in the POI. The Locked Gate page says a Code Printer inside each area. Search the whole POI and the distinction stops mattering.
Where you use it. The Gate Control Room, at one of four terminals, one terminal per code. The room is marked on your map when the condition is active, so navigate to the marker rather than to a description. The code is consumed on submission.
What it unlocks
The main gate, and only during the Locked Gate map condition on The Blue Gate. A clandestine group has triggered an emergency shutdown at the underground tunnel entrance. Four codes override it. Once all four terminals are satisfied, the outer gates open permanently for the rest of that raid, for everyone in the lobby.
| Code | Spawns inside | Rough position |
|---|---|---|
| Pilgrim's Peak Security Code | Pilgrim's Peak | North east |
| Ancient Fort Security Code | Ancient Fort | South |
| Raider's Refuge Security Code | Raider's Refuge | North west |
| Reinforced Reception Security Code | Reinforced Reception | Centre north |
What is inside
The gate is not a loot room, it is access to the underground tunnel complex.
What guides report down there: weapon lockers, security breach containers, a weapon case and a general spread of containers through the Security Wing, plus side tunnels with lockers on the approach. The Bobcat SMG blueprint is the prize people chase during this condition, most commonly out of red lockers and drawers, though it can spawn anywhere on the map while the event runs.
The Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key door is down there too, under the MANTIKOR sign. If you already hold that key, one trip covers both.
Expect a Bastion and a spread of ARC. Opening the gate does not clear it.
Is it worth the detour
The code costs you nothing, so the answer for the code itself is always yes if you are near Pilgrim's Peak.
The genuinely useful part is the banking. Codes extract with you and sit in your stash. That converts what looks like a four POI sprint across a hostile map into four ordinary raids where you happened to loot one extra building. Play Blue Gate normally, pick up whichever code is on your route, and submit the set when you have it.
That changes the risk maths completely. A run built around visiting all four POIs in one 40 minute raid is a run built around crossing open ground repeatedly with a squad hunting the same buildings. A run where you grab the code you walked past is free.
How keys work in Arc Raiders
The codes follow the normal rules with two useful twists.
- Single use. Consumed on submission at the terminal, the same way a key is consumed on a door.
- Lost on death unless it is in your Safe Pocket. Since the whole strategy is banking codes across runs, the Safe Pocket is where they belong every time.
- Fixed spawn area. The exception to the rule. The code spawns inside its namesake POI, minimum one per round.
- No published drop rates anywhere in this game. Not for codes, not for door keys. Ignore any percentage you see quoted.
Worth knowing: a code has 0 Coins of value and cannot be deleted from your Speranza stash. Dropping it in a raid or submitting it are the only ways to clear the slot.

Frequently asked questions
- Where does the Pilgrim's Peak Security Code spawn?
- Inside Pilgrim's Peak, in the north east of The Blue Gate. At least one spawns per round and sometimes more. Unlike every other key in the game, this one has a fixed spawn area rather than a random drop from the loot pool.
- Can I collect the four security codes across multiple raids?
- Yes, and this is the single most useful thing to know about them. Codes extract with you and bank in your stash, so you can take one code out per run and submit them whenever you have the set. There is no requirement to hold all four at once.
- Where do I submit the Pilgrim's Peak Security Code?
- At the Gate Control Room on The Blue Gate, which has four terminals, one per code. The room is marked on your map when the Locked Gate condition is active. The code is consumed on submission.
- How much is the Pilgrim's Peak Security Code worth?
- 0 Coins. It has no sale value at all, and it cannot be deleted from your Speranza stash. The only ways to remove one are dropping it during a raid or submitting it at a terminal.
- Does Locked Gate change anything else about the raid?
- Yes. The condition runs with fewer active Return Points, no active Raider Hatches and a 40 minute raid cap. Plan your extract before you commit to a long code run.
