Our item data gives each of them the in-game description "Temporary security code to unlock the main gate." No quest in our quest data names any of them, and their wiki pages list no quest.

What every code has in common

Per the wiki, a code can only be used during Locked Gate, and it is one of four codes needed to unlock the gate during that map condition. Per the wiki, a minimum of 1 code will spawn during a round, and it is possible to find multiple in a single round.

Per the wiki, you submit a code at the Gate Control Room location: enter the building, and one of the 4 terminals inside takes it, after which it is removed from your inventory. Per the wiki, a code can be extracted with, but it is converted to an expired code with no practical use.

That expired item is the Expired Security Code. Per the Expired Security Code's wiki page, any Locked Gate security key that Raiders bring to Speranza is converted to one. In our item data, the Expired Security Code weighs 0.5 and sells for 10 coins, and its in-game description reads "An expired security code. Has no more practical use."

What the Locked Gate page adds

The wiki's Locked Gate page calls Locked Gate a map condition exclusive to The Blue Gate: the entrance to the underground tunnels is locked, and Raiders must collect security codes to unlock it. The wiki's Locked Gate page says the four codes are placed into a computer console inside the Gate Control Room, and that the gate at Checkpoint opens after all four are entered.

The wiki's Locked Gate page puts each code in a Code Printer within its respective location, while the wiki's item page for each code says any lootable container there. Watch your footing: the wiki's Locked Gate page says each Security Code location is surrounded by Buried Mines, and that Pilgrim's Peak is protected by two Rocketeers.

The wiki's Locked Gate page lists fewer active Return Points and no active Raider Hatches for the condition, and gives the raid a maximum duration of 40 minutes; its History dates Locked Gate to patch 1.7.0. The wiki's Maps page gives The Blue Gate a 30 minute duration, and 40 minutes during Locked Gate.

Each code's surroundings

Hatch markers need a Raider Hatch Key, and the wiki's Locked Gate page lists no active Raider Hatches, so a hatch named below is no exit on a Locked Gate raid. The wiki's Locked Gate page also lists fewer active Return Points. It does not say which, so an airshaft named below may be inactive on a Locked Gate raid too.

Raider's Refuge, north west

Reinforced Reception, north

Pilgrim's Peak, north east

Ancient Fort, south
