Loot Zones Guide for Arc Raiders

The Arc Raiders maps mark places as white, orange or red zones. No source says what loot a color holds; a container's type, tier and room change it.

Loot Zone Colors on the Maps

This site's map data records a zone color on some markers, read from each in-game map image: white, orange or red. It records no other color. No source this site uses says what loot a color holds or how hard its enemies are, so this page does not rank them. Each map page lists its zoned markers.

Red Zones and ARC Spawn Areas

Red Lakes on Dam Battlegrounds, and the Launch Towers and the Electrical Substation on the Spaceport, are marked both as ARC spawn areas and as red zones. The Hospital in Buried City and Pilgrim's Peak on the Blue Gate are red zones with no ARC spawn marking. Stella Montis records white and orange markers only, and Riven Tides records no zone at all.

What Changes a Container's Loot

The wiki's Containers page says each container type has its own loot table, and that some types change their table with the zone they spawn in: a red locker spawns residential loot in a residential zone. A container's tier (none, yellow or red) raises the chance of higher rarity loot without guaranteeing it.

Locked Rooms and Night Raid

The same page says a loot table can change behind a keycard locked area or inside a room you have to breach, so bring the keys for the map you are running. The wiki's Maps page adds that during a Night Raid, raiders have been finding especially good loot behind locked doors, and keys have been more plentiful.

Zone Specific Loot Tables

No source this site uses lists which zone drops which item, so the item database names no drop zone for any item. Zone colors come from each map: read them as labels on the map, not as a guide to a particular item.

Do Containers Refill?

No source this site uses says whether a searched container fills again during a raid, or on what timer, so plan a route through the markers on a map instead of waiting in one place for loot to come back.
