Station Upgrades Complete Guide for Arc Raiders

Station Upgrade Overview

Your Speranza workshop holds the Workbench, Gunsmith, Gear Bench, Medical Lab, Explosives Station, Utility Station and Refiner. The Workbench is free; every other station is built and then upgraded up to level 3, and each level unlocks more recipes. Frozen Trail 2.0 added the Outpost, unlocked by a project: it holds a fourth Gunsmith level and the Research Station, which has four levels of its own. Each level costs a fixed list of materials, shown on the crafting page.

Gunsmith Upgrades

The Gunsmith crafts weapons and weapon mods. Level 1 covers weapons like the Il Toro and Rattler; level 2 adds the Venator, Osprey, Torrente and Arpeggio, and the Anvil since Frozen Trail 2.0; level 3 adds the Bobcat, Tempest, Vulcano, Renegade and Jupiter among others. Level 4 needs the Outpost and, with the Research Station also at level 4, lets you amplify weapons. Upgrade it when your weapons fall behind the zones you want to raid.

Gear Bench Upgrades

The Gear Bench crafts shields and augments: the Light Shield and Mk. 1 augments at level 1, the Heavy Shield and Mk. 2 augments at level 2, and the Mk. 3 augments at level 3. It also crafts the Medium Shield. Its level 3 upgrade asks for Bastion Cells.

Recycling Toward Upgrades

Recycling turns unwanted loot into the materials your station upgrades ask for. Check the recycling explorer for what an item yields, and recycle toward the next upgrade's material list rather than everything you carry home.

Medical Lab Upgrades

The Medical Lab crafts bandages, shield rechargers and adrenaline shots at level 1, defibrillators, sterilized bandages and surge shield rechargers at level 2, and the Vita Spray and Vita Shot at level 3.

Choosing an Upgrade Order

There is no single right order: upgrade the station behind your current bottleneck first. Each level lists the materials it needs, so recycle toward that list rather than everything you carry home.
