Inventory Philosophy

In Arc Raiders, inventory management is a core survival skill. Your carry weight limit forces constant decisions about what to pick up and what to leave behind. Elite raiders think about inventory before, during, and after every raid. Good inventory habits compound into faster progression and more successful extractions over time.

Weight Optimization

Calculate the value per kilogram of every item you consider picking up: its sell price divided by its weight. When your pack gets heavy, start dropping the lowest value per weight items. This ensures you always carry the most valuable haul possible within your weight limit.

Pre Raid Loadout Planning

Enter every raid with minimal weight. Bring only your weapon, shield, essential consumables, and tools needed for specific objectives. Your loadout and your loot share your augment's weight limit, so every kilogram you carry in is one less kilogram of loot you can carry out without going over it.

Mid Raid Decision Making

During raids, continuously evaluate your inventory. When you find a new item, compare its value to the least valuable item you are already carrying. If the new item is worth more per kilogram, swap them. This rolling replacement strategy ensures your inventory is always optimized for maximum extraction value.

Base Storage Systems

Organize your base storage with clear categories: crafting materials in one area, weapons in another, shields and augments in another, and consumables in another. Label or remember what goes where. A disorganized storage wastes time between raids as you hunt for items you know you have. Clean out your storage regularly by recycling or selling items you no longer need.
