Recycling for Materials, Not Coins in Arc Raiders

Recycling in Arc Raiders pays in materials, not coins: an item's parts almost always sell to a vendor for less than the whole item does. Recycle for the materials your next craft or upgrade needs, and sell the rest whole.

Recycle for What You Need

Check what an item breaks into before you recycle it. The recycling explorer lists the outputs for every item with a confirmed recycling chain, and its reverse lookup shows which items yield a given material, so you can target the one your next craft is short of.

When Selling Wins

If you do not need the materials, sell the item whole. Compare its vendor value with what its parts sell for: in almost every case the whole item is worth more coins. The keep or sell tool shows the call for an item, where one is on file.

Recycle at Home, Not Topside

Breaking an item down during a raid salvages it, and salvage returns less than recycling it at home. A Ferro I recycles into 2 Metal Parts and 1 Rubber Parts, but salvages into only 2 Metal Parts.
