Flashpoint Update Guide (March 31, 2026)

What Flashpoint (patch 1.22.0) changed beyond its new ARC Operation: Shredders spread past Stella Montis, Scrappy's Feeding Boost and crafting.

Category: Strategy ยท Updated 5 October 2026

The Flashpoint update went live on March 31, 2026 as patch 1.22.0. Beyond its new ARC Operation and weapons, it let Shredders out of Stella Montis, gave Scrappy a Feeding Boost, let you fill missing crafting materials from the crafting screen, and opened the High-Gain Antenna project. This page covers those four changes from Embark's own notes; the Flashpoint learn page covers Close Scrutiny, the Vaporizer, the Canto, the Dolabra and the Surge Coil.

Shredders Leave Stella Montis

Before Flashpoint, Shredders stayed on Stella Montis. Patch 1.22.0 added them to every map, and on Dam Battlegrounds only during certain map conditions. Embark's announcement calls the Shredder a floating menace spotted all across the Rust Belt. The community wiki's advice holds wherever you meet one: hit the thrusters, never engage without cover, hide when it signals its attack, and bring Heavy Ammo or grenades. The Shredder guide has the rest.

Scrappy's Feeding Boost

Scrappy is the rooster in your workshop who gathers materials while you are Topside. Since Flashpoint you can feed him particular items to widen the kinds of loot he collects, and while you keep feeding him he also drops you some more valuable items.

Crafting From Missing Materials

When a recipe is short of materials, the crafting screen now lists where to get them, so you can recycle, refine or buy what is missing in the same window instead of switching tabs. The crafting page lists every recipe and its station.

The High-Gain Antenna Project

Celeste and Shani want an eye in the sky to track the strange shapes Raiders have reported, so they ask everyone to gather resources toward a High-Gain Antenna, a Player Project. Contributors are rewarded.
