Dam Battlegrounds Guide

Dam Battlegrounds needs no unlock, Red Lakes is its only red zone and the Control Tower is at its centre. Loot route, locked-room keys, extractions and ARC.

Dam Battlegrounds is a Topside map that is available immediately with no unlock requirement. It is centered on the Alcantara hydroelectric complex, and fights there range from close quarters inside buildings to open swamp.

Loot Zones

The map data colours its markers white, orange and red. Orange covers the Control Tower, Research & Administration, the Hydroponic Dome Complex, Generator Hall and the Power Generation Complex; red covers only Red Lakes, down in the south east.

The Control Tower stands at the centre of the map, and its locked top floor room takes the Dam Control Tower Key. The Dam Surveillance Room is a locked first floor room in the Water Treatment Control building, west of Primary Facility, opened by the Dam Surveillance Key. Generator Hall and the Power Generation Complex sit side by side in the north east.

Recommended Loot Route

Testing Annex and Pale Apartments are white zone markers in the south east and north west; start wherever your spawn puts you, then move on to the Control Tower. If you carry a Dam Surveillance Key, its room is in the Water Treatment Control building, west of Primary Facility.

Extraction Points

Dam Battlegrounds extraction points marked on the map: North Complex Elevator, Central Swamp Lift, Water Treatment, Water Treatment Elevator and Red Lakes Balcony Lift, plus Sunroof Hatch, Pump House Hatch, Spillway Hatch and Dead Old Baron's Hatch. Hatch markers need a Raider Hatch Key. Pick one at the end of your route, and check its approach before you call it.

ARC Encounters

The map marks Red Lakes as an ARC spawn area. Bring weapons for close quarters inside buildings and mid range across open ground.

PvP Hotspots

Expect other Raiders wherever you are looting, and plan your exit before you commit to a building. Listen for footsteps in corridors and check corners. Do not linger in the open where snipers have clear sightlines.
