Buried City is a mid-tier map featuring dense urban ruins partially submerged underground. Tight corridors, multi-level buildings, and heavy ARC presence make it significantly more dangerous than Dam Battlegrounds.

Loot Zones

Buried City mixes white and orange loot zones. The surface ruins are mostly white zones with common gear. The underground metro tunnels and collapsed buildings contain orange crates with uncommon and occasional rare loot. The Central Plaza is the hottest zone with the best loot density.

High-value spawns include Venators, Cantos, Il Toros, Reinforced Helmets, Reinforced Vests, Tactical Backpacks, Chemicals, Circuitry, and ARC parts from machine kills.

Recommended Loot Route

The safest high-value route starts at the Eastern Ruins spawn. Drop into the partially collapsed apartment building and loot the three rooms on the second floor. Move through the connecting skybridge to the office complex. Loot the server room (guaranteed Circuitry spawn) and descend into the metro tunnel via the maintenance shaft. Follow the metro tracks westward, looting the derailed train cars. Exit at the Western Station and extract at the Park extraction point.

Aggressive route: Push directly to Central Plaza from any spawn. Loot the department store and the underground parking structure. This is the highest value route but also the most contested by both ARC machines and other Raiders.

Extraction Points

Buried City has three extractions: Park (northwest, moderate safety), Rooftop (central, very exposed), and Subway Exit (southeast, underground). Subway Exit is the safest because it requires knowledge of the metro tunnel system. The Rooftop extraction is a death trap during peak hours because Raiders camp it with snipers.

ARC Encounters

Buried City has the densest ARC population of any mid-tier map. Expect Tick swarms in metro tunnels, Harvester patrols in surface ruins, and at least one Bastion patrolling Central Plaza. Shredders lurk in the underground sections. Bring Gas Grenades for Bastion encounters and Smoke Grenades for emergency exits.

Key Tips

The metro tunnels are your best friend for avoiding PvP. Most Raiders stick to the surface. Sound travels far in the tunnels, so crouch-walk when you hear other players. The collapsed department store in Central Plaza has a hidden loot room behind the elevator shaft that most players miss.
