Dolabra Weapon Guide for Arc Raiders

The Dolabra is a legendary semi-automatic Arc Raiders shotgun on Energy Clips, built at the Gunsmith level 3 once you have learned its blueprint.

Dolabra at a Glance

The Dolabra is a legendary, semi-automatic shotgun that fires on Energy Clips, with Strong ARC armor penetration on the wiki's figures. Embark's 1.22.0 patch notes list it among the Flashpoint update's new arrivals as a legendary energy shotgun. The wiki says it cannot be upgraded, so it comes in no tiers.

How to Get the Dolabra

Crafting is the one source the wiki's Dolabra page gives: the Gunsmith at level 3 builds it from Shredder Gyros, Magnetic Accelerators and Vaporizer Regulators once you have learned the Dolabra Blueprint, which the wiki says is found inside the ARC Assessor. Embark's Flashpoint post points to the Close Scrutiny ARC Operation as the best chance of finding that blueprint. Embark's Live Update 2.3.0 notes say the Dolabra Blueprint can now drop in any major map condition, with a slightly lower drop chance.

A Wide Blast or a Focused Beam

The game's own description says the Dolabra can "fire a wide short range blast" or be focused to fire "a tight medium range beam of heat". The wiki's infobox gives it two sets of figures, hip fire and aimed: aimed, its damage per shot is lower and its range longer. No source on file says how the game picks between the blast and the beam. Embark's Flashpoint post calls the blast and the beam a wide burst and a focused funnel of electricity, so the sources do not agree on what the shot is made of.

Feeding It Energy Clips

The game describes an Energy Clip as ammo for energy weapons, one clip fully charging a single weapon, and the Jupiter, the Equalizer and the Aphelion take the same clips. The Workbench at level 1 crafts them from an Advanced ARC Powercell and Batteries, and Tian Wen sells them, with a daily purchase limit since Frozen Trail 2.0.

Parts From the Vaporizer

Two of the recipe's three parts are epic, and the Vaporizer Regulator comes only from the Vaporizer; the Vaporizer guide covers that fight.
